Nilgiri winds...

It was our wedding anniversary....We planned it differently by having a leasure trip.We have already seen the commercial side of Ooty. But this time our wish is to experience some natural environment...Our search stopped at Doddabetta resort, which is at a highest point in Ooty,on the way to Doddabetta peak.As we are at Coimbatore,Ooty is just 98 km away.We travelled by car in Mettupalayam rout and stopped at some scenic points. Finally reached our stay at around 12.30 pm.After checking in we left for Doddabetta peak which is at a walkable distance from our resort. It was a sunny day. Here we go....

A lonely cottage on the way...Scary or awesome !!! may be both..:-)

The Nilgiri's mountain railway...The bad thing is that we haven't travelled through even once...

cute isn't it ??

The tiny yellow buds added the special look....

A walk in the woods...On the way to Dodabetta peak..:-)

Ducklings....:-)

An evening walk...

See the sun rise...

Flowers and flowers and flowers every where...The Botanical gardens...

We spotted some horses too....

This they call the shooting spot....

The green steps...

Colourful veggies....Ummmmmmmmm.....
