Kerala Mural

'Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.' ---  Pablo Picasso.

It took two and half days of bliss to paint this little piece of Kerala Mural. Spotted this one in a temple when we were in Wayanad. I loved it so much and took a picture to make a painting of my own.

Nerdy Girl

“There is a girl who never returns her library books.  Don’t give her your heart --- it is unlikely you will ever see it again.” - A Cautionary Tale by Lang Leav.

The Reader

She carefully examined that 'Popular book' cover, slowly turned it's pages.

The outer appearance is tempting but the inner content is shallow and shoddy.

She do not invest in reading books that everyone is capable of reading for she enjoys a little bit of challenge.

Always thought 'Popular books' are for mediocre people.

The crappy books that comfortably fit in every common hand that pick them up is not her cup of tea.

She always loved the exclusive stuff, the stuff that finds it's own readers.

So the crappy book with it's crumpled worn-out pages painfully ended up in her trash bin.

Pluck this little flower and take it, delay not! I fear lest it droop and drop into the dust.
I may not find a place in thy garland, but honour it with a touch of pain from thy hand and pluck it.
I fear lest the day end before I am aware, and the time of offering go by.
Though its colour be not deep and its smell be faint, use this flower in thy service and pluck it while there is time.
--- Flower by Rabindranath Tagore
