Detachment

Once in a while a little bit of detachment will do good. It allows you to be yourself without any outside influences from the society and masses.

Finally I'm able to take a break from social media circus. Deactivated my FB account after a long time. If it's not for our lovingly formed book readers group I would've come out of it long time ago. My buddies agreed that they will take care of the group activities in my absence. Whoa !! a liberating feeling !!

As I'm back in my cave, now I can do whatever I want. A lot to catch up in reading and writing. With all those distractions I'm unable to concentrate on the things that really matter to me. We introverts do not understand when people keep on talking without a break. I really want to ask "Aren't you tired my dear? " :) I know, perhaps they'd look at us quiet people in the same way. "For gods sake, can't you open your mouth my dear ?" :)

Anyways my little book cart is calling me. All set to go hermit mode again...

As Rumi says, Silence is the language of God, all else is poor translation.
