Kalpetta to Meppadi-Wayanad : A long drive on a rainy day

Yesterday we went for another long drive which was completely unplanned but it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences..First of all it was heavily raining here and asusual we forgot to carry umbrellas with us :P ..But you know what, this time we carried some hot coffee with us..We stopped at few scenic places amidst the lavishly green tea plantations and enjoyed the serene calmness and beautiful view of cloud filled mountain peaks...Some school children were also enjoying the rain while returning from school..They waved us cheerfully with beaming smiles..At Ripon estate in Meppadi we saw few tea pluckers returning from their work, asked curiously our whereabouts..We sipped some hot filter coffee and enjoyed the cool drizzles.

Here we go with the pics..
