We had been to Jhalori pass and Reckong Peo almost three years back but finally now I get to post about our travel experience..What to do !!! Lazy me..
We had stopped at Jhalori pass on our way to Manikaran via Karcham..It is known as one of the world's most spectacular and dangerous roads..Only those who are good behind the wheels can try this way and we were really lucky enough to have a skillful driver with us on this tour..I must say,it is the most adventurous ways traveled so far..We enjoyed this adventurous drive more than Rohtang pass..The drive through the narrow dangerous curves was a memorable one...Jalori Pass is at an elevation of 10,800 ft above sea level in the Kullu dt. of Himachal Pradesh..This pass remains closed in peak of winter only..
Our plan was from Reckong Peo -- Rampur -- Shongtong bridge,Rang -- Via Karcham-- Jhalori pass -- Manikaran..

Spectacular Nandini...the photos are breathtaking and wish I could visit HP this very minute. Yes, the terrain is difficult to upkeep with regular landslides but the trip is worth every rupee!!!
Very beautiful pics, Nagini!
Loved that mauve-pink tree:)
Beautiful pics and that was quiet deadly.
Wah! A drive through untouched Himachal is always a joy, though its fast losing its 'untouched' feel.
Thanks for sharing a very informative article with us. I have also written a short article about HImachal, please review here: https://indiavisitonline.in/4-nights-5-days-shimla-kullu-manali-tour-package
