Chennai bites -3 : Dakshinachitra Heritage Museum

I believe climate always plays vital role in sight seeing..That too when it's a heavy rainy day and you are in a house,a one fifty years old one,in a village full of greenery all around, when you remember every word your grannies told you about their villages, their culture and their way of living...This is what happen to you when you visit Dakshinachitra Heritage museum situated in East Coast road (ECR),Chennai..This place mirrors the life style, architecture and cultural heritage of South Indian villages..There are several model houses of Andhra,Karnataka,Tamilandu and Kerala in this museum..Especially it's a must visit for metro people who crave for greenery and are so sick of the modern life style..Here we go with the pictures....

Amazing post . DakshinaChitra has collaborated with Nalandaway to create DakshinaChitra Arts Lab to work with children from under privileged communities, who face economical and societal challenges. There are different Dakshinachitra timings for different events and activities.

Nice blog on Dakshinachitra Heritage Museum, and there are many places to be visited in Chennai. Chennai is called as cultural heritage. There are so many wonders are there to be visited. I started with Marina Beach and then went through many famous temples, Churches, Mosques, Shopping malls, Various class of restaurants, Zoo, Museum, and i stayed in a beach resort where i enjoyed a lot. Almost i covered all the places in Chennai to Mahabalipuram. I Booked a cab from Ezi Drive while starting my trip. The cab was very neat that helps me to feel pleasant , and the driver was very descent and he showed all the places to be visited in Chennai. Here i would like to thank Ezi Drive for their excellent service which made my trip more enjoyable. You can also avail book a cab or rent a driver or car hire Chennai from EZI Drive to make your trip more pleasant.
