I heard a lot about Shimla since childhood..For most of us Shimla and Apples are synonyms..:) We travelled to the capital of Himachal Pradesh from Kasauli (Chandigarh) via cab..We had a pre-booked stay at Grand Hotel which was a comfortable accommodation with tidy rooms and friendly staff..After getting there what I felt was Shilmla is not just about nature and landscapes, but there are all over beautiful traces of British ruling..As we all know it was once served as the summer capital of Britishers..The best thing about Shimla is its wonderful streets with colonial architecture..A walk by The Mall road gives you few beautiful glimpses of the Neo-Gothic architecture..
Here we go with the pictures.. ..
If you are in Shimla,Indian Coffee House is a must visit for coffee lovers..They also served some good breakfast there.

Boiled eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper were tasted delicious in that chilly climate

@ Ankur Anand,
Thanks a ton Ankur :)
No apples grow in the 'Shimla' you visited, nor is the fabled Shimla there in what you saw. It is, but in traces.
To see Shimla, 'Look out! Look out!' is what they say :)
