Shining like a new pearl

My work's done as I wrote a note about this year's reading. It's a sort of tradition for me at the end of every year. Even though I said I'm unable to reciprocate anything, the response from friends was overwhelming. I felt more and more loved and humbled to the core with all that kindness that's bestowed upon me. And it feels good when you are at a place of an influencer. :) As it is the last week of the year, I started making the list of books to read in 2023. It was real fun.

As Christmas is mom's death anniversary, I use to feel a sense of sadness in the air almost every year. But as the time passed I started to realize, she never would have wished to see me sad, she always wanted me to be happy. So this Christmas is different. I would like to spend the day in celebrations while remembering her fondly.

Okayyyy, now coming to the most exciting part : The fun is just about to begun from tomorrow. My prince charming is going to make it up to me for the last weekend. Movies, food, shopping, cafes and whatever I wish for. :) When I look at myself in the mirror, I see myself shining like a new pearl. :) :) When you are loved by the right people, you glow differently. :) Thank you 2022, you've been kind to me.
