Sangla Valley,Himachal Pradesh

The second half of 2012 turned out to be pretty good travelling season for us....Among many beautiful places on the visited list, the first one I would like to introduce to you all is Sangla Valley..The untouched, unpolluted & non-commercialized valley with its charming beauty...If you wanna grab the complete cultural beauty of Himachal Pradesh,no doubt this is the first and best destination to stop by...It comes under Kinnaur district and very close to Indo-Tibet border..We started from Shimla and our rout was via Narkanda  and Rampur...Though we expected the snow fall during our visit,we were disappointed....We were there in the first week of November 2012...Here we go..:-)

The women wearing colourful cloths busy with their daily course....I felt like they are not having anything to do with the advanced modern society and completely lost in their own world...Blessed they are..:-)

We can not turn our eyes off from the green and yellow mixed trees and beautiful houses..Here the main occupation of people is agriculture..The valley is full of rich apple plantations and pine trees...

The rout starting from Kharcham is very beautiful..On the way to Sangla itself you'll  find so many scenic spots..:-)

The valley is situated on the banks of Baspa river  and so it is also called Baspa valley..

We can spot the herds of sheep with plenty of fur...Hats off to God for taking care of the comfort of these animals in the chilly cold climate...We observed, even the dogs have so much fur in this place..:-)

The typical Himachal House...Most of the houses are in this shape only...You know,The mistress of this house gave us some yummy apples..:-) Nice lady she is..:-)

The streets of the tiny villages are pretty calm..Unlike the metro living they give us enough opportunity and space to look in to the nature....To have a glance at the God's created beauty with quite and undisturbed minds...

The busy men loading the dried grass from mountains in to the vehicle...If you observe there is a bunch of grass ,hanging to a thread which is arranged in such a way that the grass get in to the truck very easily ..:-)
