After visiting Sangla valley & Reckong peo we reached Manikaran via Rampur..Manikaran is located in Parwati Valley near the Beas river in Kullu district and is one of the popular pilgrimage center for Sikhs and Hindus.Manikaran is famous for the the Gurudwara and hot springs..There is a story related to this place, that Hindus believe that Manu recreated human life here only...The Parvati river flow in front and the steaming water pouring into it was superb.
The accommodation at Gurudwara is not that great experience..The rooms were just o.k,and washrooms are very untidy..So better you stay outside whenever you visit this place. One must visit this place and have the sacred bath in natural hot water pool inside Gurudwara.People believe that the hot water here has a power to cure all diseases..Pls click on the pics to see larger images.

Thanks for sharing this , i am sure its an awesome place to visit. I have been to many hill stations in Himachal like Shimla, Kullu , Manali and Dharamshala but missed this one. The picture of spring is very good and if i am not wrong there are lots of similar springs we see in all famous hill stations of Himachal. Is there Apple plantation in this place?
