We got an opportunity to bag some wonderful moments while visiting some nice places when we stayed at Coimbatore..Isha is the first one to recollect among them..Its just 30 km away and 1 hr drive from Coimbatore..The roads are very nice..Some misty mountains and coconut plantations on both sides give you a great experience of drive..
Isha Foundation, founded by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev,is a volunteer-run, international nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating human potential. It is operated by over 2 Million volunteers from more than 150 city-based centers spread worldwide. The headquarters,Isha Yoga Center,is located in the lush rain forest at the base of the Velliangiri mountains in south India.
At the core of the Foundation's activities is a customized system of yoga called Isha Yoga in which they teach Sambhavi Maha Mudra,a powerful kriya for deep inner transformation..I have attended one week inner Engineering classes conducted in Coimbatore and had a wonderful experience of Sambhavi Maha Mudra..Here are the few pics of Isha Yoga Centre..

The 13 feet Shiva Linga called as Dhyana Linga which gives us meditative space irrespective of caste and creed..Silence is maintained inside the temple..There is no such thing like puja but the temple is simply made for the purpose of Dhyana..By the way photography is not allowed inside the temple.

The Teerthakund, where the visitors can take a holy bath before going to Dhyana Linga...
